Barrington Youth Baseball and Softball

All players who are currently participating in the BYB&S House season are welcome to attend tryouts.

 

This is an all-star program that provides qualified players with an opportunity to compete in tournaments against other area teams in July.  These Tournament Team All-Star players also practice weekly as a team in June and July.

 

The House All-Stars schedule does not conflict with your House team schedule.

 

The Mustangs program in 2021 will be available for u8 baseball and  8u softball players. 

 

Team formation is subject to sufficient player interest.  

 

Players will try out for all House Divisions in May. 

 

All-Star player fees range from $195 to $295 depending on the number of tournaments.  Mustangs fees cover all additional training, uniforms, tournament entries, etc. 

 

 

What team do I tryout for:

For baseball, the player’s age as of May 1, 2021, is used. 

For softball, the player’s age as of January 1, 2021, is used. 

 

*Most players try out within the division described next to the age bracket.

 

A projected tournament schedule will be posted on our website prior to tryouts.  Most teams play 2 to 4 tournaments in July and all teams complete their all-star season by July 25th at the latest.
